Unpleasantly Plump week 21

Ladies and Gentlemen, I have officially LOST weight. It only took me 21 weeks to get to this point. I did experience a pound or two difference in the beginning but I know it wasn't anything real (most likely water weight) because I didn't make any sustainable changes until now. The scale this morning read 202.6lbs which means I lost a total of 4.2lbs 🤗. My big achievements this week were cooking two meals from scratch (Pork Chops and Meatballs), drinking a gallon of water per day (adding fresh squeezed lemon) and exercising my restraint went it comes to sweets (dessert once, and a frozen greek yogurt bar). I did cheat last night though. We went out for a friends birthday and the menu had something called the 'Seafood Tower' (just as delicious as it sounds) and the pastry chef made an Apple Dumping that called my name so loudly that I had to give it some attention. I felt guilty this morning but then I got on the scale and I've been happily stepping through my Sunday since. Today was the first day in over 2 weeks that I managed to hit my 10,000 daily step goal 🏆. Another win today... $10 boots! No joke, Andrea and I went to the mall just to walk around on this rainy afternoon and our window shopping turned into buying from the display. How do you say no to $10 boots!?! My one complaint this week is my face. Even though I have been eating clean and staying hydrated, my acne is on a rampage. I have some serious redness, pimples and blackheads. I attempted some make up for our dinner out but that didn't help much (probably because my make up is over 6 years old 😬) Another annoyance of mine is my facial hair, more specifically, my chin whiskers. They are stubborn on a good day. I swear I noticed a slight curl in one of them the other day 😳. I have never noticed another woman's facial hair (aside from the slight 'stache that creeps up on my fellow european lady friends) but a beard, why me? I literally have five o'clock shadow, or thanks to daylight savings, six o'clock shadow. I'm looking forward to the dermatology office opening up right next door to our condo complex, maybe they'll have laser hair removal services. I can talk my way into a free trial or free advertising 😂.
I hate complaining, as entertaining as it might be, I really am very fortunate. The things I can control, which includes my actions and my attitude; means that I am responsible for the outcome of each day. One day at a time in this journey. Today is what I consider a win 💪🏽.
