UP week 26 and the never-ending incision

This coming Wednesday will make THREE WEEKS since Zeus had the minor surgery to remove a non-cancerous lump off of his ankle. I am in shock at how long it is taking for his stitches to dissolve. I take him to the Vet every Monday and Thursday morning 8am and they tell me the same thing... He has to let the wound dry out and since he continues to lick the area, he is keeping it moist (I hate that word - moist *cringe*). Luckily, its not infected but unluckily, I am still yelling every 20 minutes as I hear the annoying slobbery sounds of him picky at 'the never-ending incision'. I used these exact words while chatting with my son the other day and he said 'that should be the title of your next blog, to really grab the readers attention' LOL this one is for you, Joshua. I was going to write this post AFTER watching the Netflix Live showing of the Reunion Special for Love Is Blind Season 4. I don't know what's worse, the streaming platform that has me sitting for over an hour staring at a blank screen or my own ignorance to think something will still air tonight. On a brighter note, I did as I set out to do, as promised last Sunday, I sent my pen-pal in prison, a response. It was two pages long of my very messy handwriting and its over 3 months late; I hope he enjoys the letter and writes back. *** I had to pause my writing because The Reunion episode of Love Is Blind FINALLY started and now it's 9 minutes to 11pm and I am exhausted. Netflix is going to be blamed for me being super tired tomorrow morning.*** Continuing on with the rest of my week, Kev and I went to our first Murder Mystery Dinner Show here in Myrtle Beach, a place called Riga-Tony's - I am including a group photo of our table. Last but not least, I am the same weight this week, 193.6lbs. The Manicotti and Cannoli from Riga-Tony's might have something to do with the scale not cooperating. Cheers to next week, hopefully we all get through Zeus' incision nightmare and maybe I'll manage to lose a one pound or two, anything to keep the momentum going.
